Biography
Shangchen is an incoming tenure-track Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Imperial College London. Before that, He was a Research Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received his Ph.D. (2020-2024; winner of the CCDS Outstanding PhD Thesis Award) in Computer Science from MMLab@NTU, NTU, advised by Prof. Chen Change Loy. His recent research focus on multimodal generation/editing, interactive world model, and spatial intelligence.
His first-author projects have garnered over 27,000 GitHub stars
